Children's Choir
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth; make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise." Psalm 98:4
Children's Chior is held on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:00 pm during the fall and spring. Led by Kalena Hanke, children pre-K through 5th grades enjoy a fun time of singing, movement, drama, and hand motions (American Sign Language) in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Also, twice during the year, one for Christmas and one during the Spring, the children's choir will perform musicals for our church.
Children's Choir is held in conjunction with our Wonderful Wednesday's. Adults, youth and children's are all invited to join us for a meal at 5:30 pm followed by age-level events from 6:00-7:00 pm. There is an Adult Bible study for adults, Jr. High and Senior High have a youth time and children will have the chior time. There's something for everyone. Come and join us!
LIVE BIG! Children's Sunday School - 10:00 a.m. Sunday's
Kids are an important part of the life of the church. Perritte Memorial UMC provides great opportunites for fun, fellowship and spiritual growth for the youngest members of our fellowship. On Sunday mornings we have "LIVE BIG!" - a multimedia Sunday school experience that's sure to capture the attention of our active children. Fun characters tell the gospel story through the media that kids are so familiar with. Along with the "LIVE BIG!" DVD segment there are also times for interaction, hands-on crafts and lots of fun.
Junior High and High School Students
United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF), for junior high and high school students, meets from 4:30-6:00 p.m. each Sunday night and from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights. Our youth group participates in many fun activities and events such as Summer youth camps, winter ski trips, UMARMY, hands-on missions projects, hosting our annual Valentine's dinner and much more. We've got a dedicated group of parents who support our youth ministry above and beyond the call of duty and invest their lives in the lives of students.
