On January 12, 2010 Haiti experienced a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake. If you are interested in helping with Haiti relief efforts through the United Methodist Church you can make donations through the church. Make your checks payable to Perritte Memorial UMC and once we collected all the funds we'll send in our donations together. Help us make a different in the lives of people who are in great need. FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY: Beginning in February Perritte will be offering Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. Financial Peace University is Dave' Ramsey's life-changing program that teaches you to achieve your financial goals by eliminating debt, saving for the future, and giving like never before. More than 1 million families have attended FPU with amazing results. You will be challenged and motivated to make a plan for your money and change your family tree forever! Rev. Tom and Susan Teekell, Dave Ramsey Certified Financial Counselors, will be the facilitators for this 13 week course. It will meet on Tuesday nights from 6-8 pm starting in February. GIL HANKE NEWS: We are sad to announce that Gil Hanke, our Music Minister for for the last 28 years, will be taking a new job come February 1st. At the same time we're excited for both he and Sher as they move to Nashville, TN where Gil will become the new General Secretary (CEO) of United Methodist Men. Click here for more info.
MOSAIC SET TO LAUNCH IN APRIL: We are excited to announce our brand new worship service, Mosaic, is set to launch Sunday, April 18, 2010 in Memorial Hall at 6:00 p.m. For more information click on the "Mosaic" link above.
